What you need to tow it
The short version
A ¾-ton pickup or larger (2500 / 3500-class), a working electric brake controller, and a 2-5/16" hitch ball rated for at least 15,432 lb — in practice a 20,000 lb ball, because the common 14,000 lb ball is not enough for this trailer. Drivers must be 25+ with a valid license and active auto insurance.
Confirming your tow vehicle is your responsibility. Check the manufacturer's tow rating and tongue-weight capacity on your door-jamb sticker and in your owner's manual, and make sure your truck, hitch and brake controller are rated for the trailer and your intended load. We rent equipment — we don't assess or approve tow vehicles, and we can't tell you what your vehicle can safely pull. If you're unsure, ask your dealer or a qualified mechanic before you book.
